Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the 2nd respondent's order made in proceedings Rc.No.1012/2016/A1, dated 29.06.2016 and consequential proceedings in Rc.No.1012/2016/A1, dated 30.06.2016 and quash the same, and consequently direct the respondents forthwith to permit the petitioner to retire peacefully with effect from 30.06.2016 and to extend all benefits including appropriate pension and the 1/4
retirement benefits thereto.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the relief sought in this writ petition has now become infructuous. Therefore, the prayer sought for by the petitioner has now become infructous and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.
2. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition and hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. 09.03.2023 msm 2/4
