Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS, to call for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent dated 03.04.2017 in No.1/2017 against the petitioner's husband Saravanan, aged 36 years, S/o.Chelladurai and now he was confined at Central Prison, Puzhal and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the body of detenu before this Hon'ble Court and set him at liberty. O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to call for the records relating to the detention order passed in No.1/2017 dated 03.04.2017 by the Detaining Authority against the detenue by name, Saravanan, aged 36 years, S/o.Chelladurai, residing at No.2/327, Kamaraj Street, Mondiamman Nagar, Redhills, Chennai-52 and quash the same.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor has represented that the Detention Order in question has already been revoked, by virtue of G.O.Rt.No.114 dated 04.05.2017 and to that effect, a copy of the same has been filed, wherein, it is averred that the Detention Order passed against the detenu has been revoked.

3. Considering the above said factual circumstances, the relief sought in the petition has become infructuous.
