This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "To direct the respondent to grant 3rd review benefits and 20 year weightage increment and annual increment based on revised pay as per 14th wage settlement dated 24.08.2022 with 10% to the petitioner."
2. The petitioner would submit that he joined the service of the respondent corporation as a Conductor on 31.10.1999. He rendered nearly 21 years of continuous service. The case of the petitioner is that at the time of his retirement, he was holding the post of Sel.Gr.Conductor.
3. The petitioner would further submit that he is entitled 3rd review benefits as he has completed 20 years of service. The petitioner 2/5
would submit that his annual increment was denied, though he completed full months of service, which gives eligibility for increment. The 14th wage settlement was arrived on 24.08.2022 with effect from 01.09.2019. Therefore, the petitioner sent a representation on 17.11.2025 seeking 3rd review benefits. However, there is no response from the respondent. Therefore, the present writ petition is filed.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that the petitioner's representation dated 17.11.2025 has not been considered to date, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 3 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
