ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 85 & 351(2) of B.N.S, 2023 and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, in Crime No.Not known of 2025, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. This Court, by an order dated 12.03.2025, referred the parties to mediation. The mediation between the petitioner and the de facto complainant admittedly had failed.

3. It is now represented by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) that CSR is assigned and the same is pending.

3. In view of the same, the respondent shall conduct and conclude the enquiry within a period of three weeks from today. If the petitioner's appearance is required, the respondent shall issue a notice under Section 35 of BNSS, 2023 and on such notice, the petitioner shall appear before the respondent. Till the conclusion of the enquiry, the respondent police shall not arrest the petitioner.

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
