The petitioners, who were arrested by the respondent-police on 28.06.2015 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 436, 448 IPC and Sections 3 & 4 of T.N.P.P.D.Act, in Crime No.302 of 2015, seeks the relief of bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on 27.06.2015 the people of Ambur along with several unknown persons assembled as huge mob and created law and order problem by raising slogans and protested against the Police and attacked the police personnel and also caused damage to the vehicles by pelting stones and setting fire to some of the vehicles. Hence, the petitioners herein who also indulged in creating law and problem, were arrested by the respondent-Police. 3.The learned senior counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners herein are innocent persons and they have been falsely implicated in this case. The learned counsel for the petitioners would further submit that the petitioners herein were picked up from their houses and detained in prison for more than 20 days. Thus, the learned counsel for the petitioners sought for grant of bail.

ssv 4.I have heard the learned Public Prosecutor also. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and taking note of the fact that the petitioners are in inside the prison for more than 20 days, I am of the opinion that bail could be granted to the petitioners by imposing stringent conditions. Accordingly, the petitioners are directed to be released on bail on each of them executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) with one surety for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ambur, and on further condition that the petitioners shall stay at Salem and report before the Salem Town Police Station twice a day at 10.30 am and 5.30 pm for a period of two weeks. 21.07.2015 ssv Crl.O.P.No.17955 of 2015
