This writ petition has come up for consideration during the pre-lunch session, however at the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the matter was passed over. When the matter was taken up for consideration in the post-lunch session, there is no representation for the petitioner. 2.

This writ petition has been filed by an association of teaching and

non-teaching staff of the respondent No.5 School challenging the proceedings in O.Mu.No.4787/A3/2015 dated 25.11.2015 issued by the 3rd respondent extending the service of the 6th respondent from 01.12.2015 to 31.05.2016 i.e., after the date of superannuation of the 6th respondent. 3.

As seen from the impugned order, the said period has already expired and the respondent No.6 was also relieved after 31.05.2016. In the circumstances, practically, the relief sought in the present writ petition has become infructuous.

4.

Be that as it may, the petitioner herein, which is claimed to be an association of teaching and non-teaching staff of the respondent No.5 School, absolutely has no locus to challenge the impugned proceedings. 5.

In the light of the above, this Court does not find any merit in this writ petition and the same is accordingly dismissed. The connected miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No costs. 28.10.2024 dpa
