ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to update the online patta in the name of S.V.Muthu for the property Page No.1 of 4

morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 10.01.2026.

2. According to the petitioner, she is the daughter-in-law of S.V.Muthu and he is a CRPF Personnel. The petitioner is having a manual patta for the subject property in the name of S.V.Muthu and she seeks for issuance of online patta. She had given a representation on 10.01.2026 to the respondents for the said purpose. Since the same was not considered by the respondents till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

5. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 1st respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the Page No.2 of 4

petitioner's representation, dated 10.01.2026 seeking for issuance of online patta for the property morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition in the name of S.V.Muthu, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner and after hearing the objections, if any, from all the necessary parties, whom the 1st respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
