Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to allot a house, build for Tsunami Victims to the petitioner at Nochi Kuppam by passing orders on the petitioners representation dated 20.01.2015.

By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner claims that he was a resident of "Nochi Nagar" and on account of Tsunami, which happened December 2004, his residence has been washed away and she lost all her belongings. In this regard, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 15.03.2016 to the 3rd respondent. Subsequently, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 20.01.2015 to the Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board and since he has not been favoured with any kind of response, the petitioner came forward to file this writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. Heard the submissions made by Mr.D.Udhayasuriyan, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.B.Kesavan, learned counsel for Slum Clearance Board who accepts notice for respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.RM.Muthukumar, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice for third respondent.
4. This Court, without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, permits the petitioner to submit one more representation to the Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board represented by its Chairman and also to the Secretary, Tamil Nadu Slum clearance Board, Chennai within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, praying for accommodation on account of the above said incident and the said officials on receipt of the same is directed to consider the same in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the representation and communicate the decision to the petitioner.
