R.No.73380/E1 S4/ 2018 dated 20.6.19 on the basis that the Petitioner was drawing a scale of pay of Rs.12000- 16500 and retired prior to 23.10.09 within a reasonable time.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to extend the benefits of GO Ms. No.236, Finance (PC) Department dated 12.07.2018 to the petitioner herein based on the proposal sent by the third respondent in his Proc. R.No.73380/E1 S4/ 2018 dated 20.6.19 on the basis that the Petitioner was drawing a scale of pay of Rs.12000- 16500 and retired prior to 23.10.09 within a reasonable time.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the respondents are directed to consider the case of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
