Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 4 and 5 to consider the his representation dated 25.04.2016 and reminder representation dated 14.08.2017 to measure the boundaries in survey numbers S.Nos.315/2A, 315/11, 462/2B ad-measuring 1.44 acres, which is situated in Mangalur Village, Virthachalam Taluk, Cuddalore District as per revenue records.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the petitioner's representations dated 25.04.2016 and 14.08.2017 and also making payment of necessary charges, the respondents 4 and 5 have not surveyed the land and issued patta so far.
4.Mr.R.Rajeswaran learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents submitted that the respondents 4 and 5 may be directed to consider the petitioner's representations in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.
5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondents 4 and 5 to consider the petitioner's representations dated 25.04.2016 and 14.08.2017 for surveying the land mentioned above and pass orders, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
