ORDER

Heard.

2. This writ petition has been filed praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a WRIT OF MANDAMUS, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 23.10.2013, in accordance with law.

3. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3, had submitted that the representation of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the petitioner, dated 23.10.2013, shall be considered by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Mettur, Salem District, and appropriate orders shall be passed thereon, on merits in accordance with law, within the time frame, as may be fixed by this Court.

4. In view of the said submission made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3, this Court finds it appropriate to direct the Revenue Divisional Officer, Mettur, Salem District, to dispose of the representation made by the petitioner, dated 23.10.2013, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, the fifth respondent, the legal representatives of the fourth respondent, as well as the other persons concerned, if any. The petitioner shall furnish a copy of his representation, dated 23.10.2013, to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Mettur, Salem District, along with a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition is disposed of, with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
