Respondents Prayer : The writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to pay two increments for the training period, in the post held by the petitioners herein as on 30.7.1992 continuously upto the date of retirement of the petitioners and consequently take into account the said increments in the pensionary benefits and in the monthly pension of the petitioners and pay all monetary and other attendant benefits as paid to others through G.O.Ms.No.85, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, dated 11.9.2012,

Heard.

This writ petition has been filed, praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to pay two increments for the training period, in the post held by the petitioners herein, from 30.7.1992, till the date of the retirement of the petitioners and consequently, revise the pensionary benefits and the monthly pension of the petitioners and pay all the monetary and other attendant benefits, as per the Government Orders, in G.O.Ms.No.85, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, dated 11.9.2012, and G.O.Ms.NO.62, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, dated 27.6.2013, in compliance of the order passed in W.P.NO.33981 of 2005 and 39046 of 2005, dated 5.7.2011.

At this stage of hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents, relying upon the order passed by this Court, dated 27.6.2013, in W.P.No.17459 of 2013, had stated that the petitioners may be directed to submit their representations, individually, to the authorities concerned, relating to the payment of increments, for the training period, as per the Government Orders, in G.O.Ms.85, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, dated 11.9.2012, and in G.O.Ms.No.62, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, dated 27.6.2013.

3. He had further submitted that on receipt of such representations, the respondents concerned, may be directed to consider and dispose of the same, as expeditiously as possible.

4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the respondents and on a perusal of the records available, the petitioners are permitted to submit their representations, individually, to the respondents concerned, seeking the reliefs, if any, within a period of four weeks from the date receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such representations, it is for the respondents concerned, to verify as to whether the petitioners are eligible, for the payment of the increments, as claimed by them, based on the

above said Government Orders, and pass appropriate orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.

The writ petition stands closed. No costs.
