JUDGMENT

Challenging the order of conviction and sentence passed in Spl. S.C.No.12 of 2009 dated 09.11.2009 on the file of the learned Special Judge/Principal District and Sessions Judge, Coimbatore, the present criminal appeal has been filed. 2.When the above Criminal Appeal is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the appellant has submitted that pending appeal, the sole appellant died on 04.12.2013 in the road accident.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has also verified the same and to substantiate the same, she produced a copy of the Post-mortem certificate and also a copy of the First Information Report dated 3.12.2013.

4.Recording the same, this Criminal Appeal is dismissed as abated.
