The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 307, 389, 506(2), 120B of IPC in Crime No. 108 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners called the defacto complainant through Whatsapp Call and informed that they have abusive audio and video of the chief abbot and after that the accused persons started harassing and blackmailing him. Hence, the case.

3. Heard both sides.

4. Considering the gravity of the offence and also the custodial interrogation is required in this case. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
