PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records pertaining to the order of detention passed in No.766/BCDFGISSSV/2017, dated 09.12.2017 passed by the 2nd respondent and set aside the same and directing the respondents to produce the petitioner's husband, detenue Saravann @ Paddy Saravanan, son of Pakkiri, aged about 42 years, before this Hon'ble Court, now confined in central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai and set him at liberty.

(Order of the Court was made by M.VENUGOPAL, J) It is represented on behalf of the Respondents 1 and 2 that in G.O.Rt.No.127, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XIII) Department, dated 12.01.2018, the detention of the petitioner's husband was revoked by the competent authority.

2. At this stage, the learned counsel for the petitioner has also made an endorsement inter alia to the effect that the petitioner is not pressing the present Habeas Corpus Petition because of the fact that the detention order was revoked.

3. Recording the aforesaid facts and the endorsement so made, the present Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
