PRAYER:- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue house site patta to members of the petitioner association in the Karadu Poramboke land, comprised in S.No.310/1, situated at No.19, Kumili Madura Mettupalayam, J.J.Nagar, Kumili Panchayat, Chengalpattu Taluk, Kancheepuram District by reclassification of the same into Royatwari, taking into consideration issuance of patta to other similarly placed person in the same survey number by considering representation of the petitioner dated 08.10.2018.

The petitioner herein has filed this Writ Petition seeking Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue house site patta to members of the petitioner association in the Karadu Poramboke land, comprised in S.No.310/1, situated at No.19, Kumili Madura Mettupalayam, J.J.Nagar, Kumili Panchayat, Chengalpattu Taluk, Kancheepuram District by reclassification of the same into Royatwari, taking into consideration issuance of patta to other similarly placed person in the same survey number by considering representation of the petitioner dated 08.10.2018.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents.
3. The District Collector, Kancheepuram District has recommended for issuance of patta to the petitioner vide communication dated 18.05.2018. Thereafter, since no steps have been taken, the petitioner has given a representation dated 08.10.2018.
4. In view of the above fact, the 6th respondent is directed to consider the representation if any given by the petitioner seeking patta and the same may be considered on merits and orders shall be passed in accordance with law.
