Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to pass appropriate orders on patta proceedings pending in file No.2077/2014/A1, in respect of the land possessed by the petitioner, measuring 57 cents comprised in Survey No.544 in Aynambakkam Village, Madhuravoyal Taluk, Thiruvallur District, in accordance with law within the time stipulated period as may be fixed.

By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2.Mr.N.Anand Venkatesh, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that based on the representation made by the father of the petitioner, the third respondent initiated patta proceedings and conducted detailed enquiry on 10.11.2014 and also made spot inspection of the property and prepared a detailed report and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
forwarded it to the second respondent for passing necessary orders on 12.01.2015. Since, there is no further action on the side of the respondent, the petitioner filed the present writ petition.
3.Heard the submissions of Mr.N.Anand Venkatesh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Dig Vijay Pandian, Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4.This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the third respondent to pass orders on the patta proceedings in file No.2077/2014/A1 in S.No.544, Aynambakkam Village, Madhuravoyal taluk, Thiruvallur District on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity to the fourth respondent, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
