ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to investigate into the case of the petitioner registered in Crime No.699 of 2019 and file the final report before the appropriate Court.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the first respondent has registered a case in Crime No.699 of 2019 on 31.10.2019, no final report is filed till date.

3. Mr.N.Muthuvel, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent would submit that the defacto complainant is away from Country and he recently visited India. His specimen signature has been taken recently and they will proceed investigation expeditiously as per law.

4. As the allegation itself is with regard to the forgery of documents, there cannot be a direction to file a final report forthwith. It requires lot of investigation by way of expert opinion, etc. Therefore, the first respondent police is directed to expedite the said process and file a final report expeditiously. Considering earlier closure report on the similar allegations, it is open to the respondent Police either file positive report or negative report considering entire materials.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
