ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to register the case based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 14.07.2016.

2. The petitioner has given a complaint before the first respondent police on 14.07.2016. Since no investigation has been conducted by the respondent police, the present petition has been filed.

3. I have heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

4. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the complaint given by petitioner, preliminary enquiry is pending. He further submitted that the second respondent will complete the enquiry within a period of four weeks.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, and recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the second respondent to complete the enquiry, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
