ORDER

This writ petition has been filed in the nature of mandamus seeking promotion to the petitioner to the post of Additional Superintendent of police for the panel year 2004-2005 and also to grant attendant and notional benefits.

2. Mr.S.Yashwanth, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

3. It had been informed on behalf of the respondents that the respondents have passed an order on 04.02.2025 rejecting the representation of the petitioner. It had been stated that none of the juniors of the petitioner had been promoted to the post of Additional Superintendent of Police (Armed Reserve) till the date of retirement of the petitioner on 30.11.2006 and therefore, the representation has been rejected.

4. The writ petition stands dismissed. However, the petitioner may challenge the order of which is now drawn to the petitioner's knowledge in the manner know to law if advised to so challenge. No costs.
