This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 05.02.2025, wherein, the petitioner is seeking for issuance of patta with respect to the subject property which admittedly has been classified as Battai Poramboke.

2.Heard Mr.T.Meganathan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3/5 3.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the 1 st respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 05.02.2025 in line with G.O.Ms.No.97 dated 21.02.2025 and take a decision, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
