Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider his representation dated 08.12.2017 and to take necessary action for laying Additional Tar Road for a length of 100 metres approximately at Vivekanantha Street, i.e, Plot No.156-8010, Tamil Nadu Housing Board, Ayappakkam, Chennai-600 077 to the end of 40 feet Road Main Road of the TNHB, within a time frame. The prayer in the Writ Petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.12.2017 and to take necessary action for laying Additional Tar Road for a length of 100 metres approximately at Vivekanantha Street, i.e, Plot No.156-8010, Tamil Nadu Housing Board, Ayappakkam, Chennai-600 077 to the end of 40 feet Road Main Road of the TNHB, within a time frame.

2. Heard Mr.S.V.S.Ilamvazhuthi, Party-in-person and Mr.S.Diwakar, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the record.

3. The petitioner-party-in-person submitted that he would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider his representation dated 08.12.2017.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents on instructions submitted that the representation of the petitioner dated 08.12.2017 would be considered in accordance with law.

5. In the light of the above submissions, this Court without going into the merits, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 08.12.2017 and take appropriate action on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There is no order as to costs.
