JUDGMENT

This Criminal Appeal has been directed against the conviction and sentence passed in Sessions Case No.354 of 2006 by the Assistant Sessions Court, Coimbatore.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has filed a memo stating that the sole appellant has passed away. Further along with the memo, the death certificate of the appellant has been annexed, wherein it has been clearly stated that the sole appellant has passed away on 20.12.2012.

3.Considering the aforesaid fact, the charge against the appellant has become abated and accordingly, the criminal appeal is liable to be disposed of.
