Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, 1950, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the First Respondent to dispose the Revision Petition in R.P. (filing) No. 385154 of 2024 along with the stay petition and the Transfer Petition in M.P. No. 7 of 2023 and within a fixed time frame.

Heard Mr. V.Srikanth, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. N.R.R.Arun Natarajan, Learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the Respondents, and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the First Respondent to consider the Revision Petition in R.P. (filing) No. 385154 of 2024 filed by the Petitioner against the Order in Se.Mu.Na.Ka. No. 3384/2021/Aa2 dated 29.02.2024 passed by the Second Respondent suspending the Petitioner from the post of Hereditary Trustee of Arulmigu Pavalavanar and Pachaivannar Swamy Temple, Calendar Street, Kancheepuram, along with the stay petition 2/6

and the Transfer Petition in M.P. No. 7 of 2023 within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents states that hearing on the aforesaid Revision Petition filed by the Petitioner has fixed on 01.04.2024.

In such circumstances, this Court without expressing any view on the merits of the controversy involved in the matter, passes the following order:- (i) it shall be incumbent upon the First Respondent to send due notice to the Petitioner, the Fourth Respondent and all other persons concerned to attend the hearing on the said date as well as on the subsequent dates to which it is adjourned and ensure that there are atleast two effective hearings every month showing progress of the case; (ii) after affording full opportunity of hearing to all parties concerned following the prescribed procedure in consonance with the principles of natural justice, the First Respondent shall deal with each of the contentions raised and pass reasoned orders on merits and in accordance with law and communicate the decision taken to them under written acknowledgment; and 3/6

(iii) the report of such compliance shall be filed before the Registrar (Judicial) of the Court.

In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed on the aforesaid terms. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. No costs. 25.03.2024 Index: Yes/No NCC: Yes/No Note: Issue order copy by 22.05.2024.
