ORDER

Earlier this Court vide order dated 19.11.2024 in Crl.O.P.No.11944 of 2024 had directed the petitioners to pay a sum of Rs.70,00,000/- to the defacto complainant by way of demand draft.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had already paid a sum of Rs.35,00,000/- as on 15.11.2024. He further submitted that out of the balance amount, the petitioner had paid a sum of Rs.15,00,000/- on 20.12.2024 and hence, for the remaining amount, he had handed over a Demand Draft for a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- to the defacto complainant today. Further, the petitioner seeks one month time to pay the entire balance amount to the tune of Rs.18,00,000/-. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

3. Considering the aforesaid submission, this Court is inclined to extend the time to pay the balance amount of Rs.18,00,000/- to the defacto complainant by 4 weeks (ie) 10.04.2025.
