PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct 1 to 4 respondents to provide police protection to all Adidravidar beneficiaries in Perambalur District and their house sites land subsequently to take appropriate action against the 5 to 9 respondents based on the complaint dated 18.08.2018 and 02.09.2018.

The petitioner has filed this petition, to direct respondents 1 to 4 to provide police protection to all Adidravidar beneficiaries in Perambalur District and their house sites land subsequently to take appropriate action against the 5 to 9 respondents, based on the complaint dated 18.08.2018 and 02.09.2018.

2. When the Matter was listed for hearing on 06.07.2021, there was no representation on behalf of the writ petitioner and hence the matter was posted on 08.07.2021. When the matter was taken for hearing on 08.07.2021, once again there was no representation for the petitioner. In order to give one more opportunity to the petitioner, the matter was again directed to be listed on 13.07.2021 under the caption ''For Dismissal''. Today, the case is listed for hearing under the caption "for dismissal" but so

also none represented on behalf of the petitioner.

3. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed for non prosecution.
