2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation dated 09.01.2026 and to dispose of the petitioner's Revision Petition filed against the order of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Gudiyatham within a time frame fixed by this Court. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's maternal grandmother Gowrammal died on 09.05.2006 and legal heir certificate was obtained on 24.12.2007 omitting the legal heirs of the petitioner's predeceased mother Prema. On coming to know about the same, the petitioner made representation dated 21.09.2023 before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Gudiyatham, seeking cancellation of the legal heir certificate dated 24.12.

2007, however, the same was rejected and aggrieved by the same, the petitioner filed revision petition before the respondent on 09.01.2026, however, the same has not yet been disposed of. Hence, this Court may without going into the merits of the case, issue direction to the respondent to dispose of the revision petition filed by the petitioner on 09.01.2026 and to pass appropriate orders, within a reasonable time frame.

4.Considering the limited relief now sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the revision petition filed by the petitioner on 09.01.2026, on merits and in accordance with law and dispose of the same after providing opportunity to the legal heirs of Gowrammal, as expeditiously as possible.
