ORDER

By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner claims that his father had a property in Survey No.221/2A in Vengalathur Village, Cheyyar Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District, admeasuring to an extent of 0.07 cents, and the Highways Department, without recourse to due process of law, sought to illegally acquire the land without even paying any compensation and his elder brother approached the Higher Officials and informed the said illegal activities and subsequently, the Officials started harassing the family members. According to the petitioner, after protracted proceedings, the Officials of the Highways Department made a recommendation for payment of compensation and also made a further recommendation for allotment of alternate site and since nothing had fructified, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 11.8.2014, followed by a reminder dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

13.4.2015, and since no response is forthcoming, came forward to file this writ petition.

3.Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mr.R.A.S.Senthilvel, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepted notice for the respondents.

4.This Court, without going into the merits of the representation, directs the third respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 13.4.2015, in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
