The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st and 2nd respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner through letter dated 04.11.2020 and subsequently conduct inspection over the said township, in the name of "S.C.C. Anthony Pillai Nagar" thereby Page No.2 of 6
extend the road to 40 feet as stated in the DTCP approval bearing number 428/98.
2.It is the case of the writ petitioner that he is the resident of a township in the name of "S.C.C.Anthony Pillai Nagar" and in the sketch layout 40 feet road has been shown, however, only 10 feet road exists in the township, in respect of which, he has given representation to the respondents to extend the road to 40 feet as stated in the DTCP approval bearing number 428/98, which has not been considered. Hence, direction is sought.
3.Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that they will inspect the said area with the assistance of Tahsildar and Assistant Director of Town and Country Planning, Kancheepuram very shortly and if there is any violation, they will take necessary action as per law.

4.In view of the above, the respondents are directed to make such exercise of conducting inspection within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
