Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to survey the plot measuring an extent of 1200 sq.ft. comprised in Survey No.148/2, Patta No.1896, as per patta survey No.148/4, Mudhura Nagar, No.46, Thaiyur Village, Thiruporur Taluk, Kancheepuram District, within a time frame.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has given a representation to the respondent for surveying his land on 05.07.2017. However, the respondent has not surveyed the land till today. Further, the learned counsel submitted that the petitioner had paid the requisite fee for conducting survey of the land. 4.Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to survey the land in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks.

5.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.07.2017 for conducting the survey of his land and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
