ORDER

The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that by an impugned order dated NIL, the fifth respondent has denied appointment on compassionate grounds. The fifth respondent is a co-operative society and as such it is not local or other authority within the meaning of Article 12 of the Constitution of India. If the petitioner is aggrieved by an order of the fifth respondent, it is open for the petitioner to challenge the order of the fifth respondent by filing the Page No. 2 of 5

revision under Section 153 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983 before the jurisdictional Joint Registrar of Co-operative Societies/Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies.

2. In that view of the matter, this Writ Petition is dismissed as not maintainable, however, with liberty as aforesaid. As and when the petitioner file any revision, the same may be considered by the appropriate authority on merits and in accordance with law.
