O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to act upon the representation made by the petitioner on 05.10.2023 wherein the petitioner is seeking for transfer of patta in his name.

2. Heard Mr.R.Rajasekar, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

3. The petitioner is claiming right over the subject property by virtue of a Will dated 06.04.2023 that was executed in favour of the petitioner by his aunt Dhanalakshmi. The petitioner is also placing reliance upon the patta that stands in the name of Dhanalakshmi in Patta Nos.563 and 2091. The grievance of the petitioner is that the representation made by the petitioner seeking for transfer of patta did not evoke any response and hence, the present writ petition has been filed. 2/4

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to submit an online application to the second respondent along with all necessary particulars and documents. On receipt of the same, the second respondent shall act upon the online application and pass appropriate orders within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of the online application from the petitioner. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
