O R D E R

The grievance of the writ petitioner is that the pension as applicable to the petitioner was not fixed based on the Last Drawn Pay of the writ petitioner.

2. There is a discrepancy raised by the writ petitioner with reference to the Gratuity Payment Intimation and the Pension Relieving Order.

3. Under these circumstances, the respondents are bound to verify the Last Pay Drawn of the writ petitioner on the date of his retirement and accordingly verify the correctness of the fixation done by the Establishment.

4. In this regard, the petitioner at liberty to submit a fresh representation to the Authorities pointing out the discrepancy. Thereafter, the respondents shall verify the correctness of the order and inform the same to the petitioner. The respondents shall complete the said exercise, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the abovesaid liberty, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. 02-11-2022 Index : Yes/No.
