PRAYER IN W.P.NO.9726 of 2022: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus or any other Writ, Order or direction in the nature of writ, directing the respondent to issue patta considering the application dated 23.12.2021 in respect of the housing site measuring 1050 Sq.ft bearing Plot No.3, comprised in S.No.260/1B, 518/1A, 268/2, 296/2B and 397 of Dharmapuri Handloom Weavers Co-operative Protection and Sales Society Ltd. S.473.

2. These petitions have been filed seeking a direction to the respondent for issuance of patta based on the applications made by the petitioners in respect of the subject properties.
3. It is the case of the petitioners that they being the members of the Dharmapuri Handloom Weaver Co-operative Protection and Sales Society Ltd., have made representations dated 06.01.2022, 30.12.2021, 23.12.2001 to the respondent herein seeking issuance of patta in respect of the subject properties to the respondent herein. However, till date, the said applications have not been considered. Hence, the petitioners have come up with the present petitions seeking the aforesaid relief.

Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the respondent to consider the applications made by the petitioners and issue patta in favour of the petitioners in respect of the subject properties, within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the Respondent
submits that the applications made by the petitioners will be considered and patta will be issued in their favour within a period of two weeks if the same is otherwise in order.
6. In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the Respondent/Tahsidar to issue patta in favour of the petitioners by considering the applications dated 06.01.2022, 30.12.2021, 23.12.2001 made by the petitioners, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if the same is otherwise in order.
7. Accordingly, these Writ Petitions are disposed of with the aforesaid direction. No costs.
