O R D E R

Pursuant to the directions issued by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.500 of 2018, the respondent Police have registered a case in crime No.2 of 2018 on 03.04.2018, on the complaint lodged by the petitioner for the offences under Section 120 (B), 420, 465, 467, 468 and 471 IPC. While so, the de facto complainant is before this Court with the above prayer.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate.

3.Taking into consideration, the nature of the allegations in the FIR and also the fact that the FIR has been registered only on 03.04.2018, this Court cannot issue a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation within a time bound manner. However, respondent Police are directed to expeditiously complete the investigation and either file a Closure Report or a Charge Sheet as the case may be, under due intimation to the de facto complainant.
