This Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to condone the delay of 814 days in filing the above appeal.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners.

3. Mr.P.Gurunathan, learned counsel for the respondent takes notice for the respondent and he has got objection in allowing the application.

4. The first petitioner would aver that on account of the death of her husband in a motor accident that took place on 19.05.2018, she borrowed money from her relatives to meet out the family expenses and due to financial constraints, she was not in a position to arrange for the payment of court fees in order to prefer the appeal. Hence, a delay of 814 days occurred in preferring the above Civil Miscellaneous Appeal.

5. Accepting the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, this Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed subject to the condition that the interest for the delay period of 814 days shall stand waived. 26.03.2026 Mac C.M.P.No.
