ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S. NAGAMUTHU,J.,) The petitioner is the husband of one Deepa, aged about 29 years. They have got two children, by name Sandeep, aged about 12 years and Harini, aged about 11 years. Leaving behind the children, it is alleged that the said Deepa has gone along with the second respondent. Now, according to the petitioner, the second respondent is illegally confining the wife of the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner has come up with this habeas corpus petition.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that investigation so far revealed that the detenue had eloped with the second respondent on her own and hiding elsewhere. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Recording the above submission, we find that there is no illegal detention. Therefore, this habeas corpus petition is dismissed with a direction to the first respondent to expedite the investigation.
