O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to issue Non-Traceable Certificate based on the petitioner's complaint dated 20.12.2022.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had lost his original Sale deed No.3140 of 2007 and 847 of 2006 on the file of the SRO, Kaniyur dated 16.11.2007 and 17.04.2006. Hence, he preferred a online complaint on 24.11.2022 before the respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the Director General of Police issued a Circular Memorandum in Rc.No.2029209/General.1(1)/2022 dated 01.04.2022 with regard to the procedure to be followed for the issuance of Non Traceable Certificate. He further submitted that if the petitioner gives the representation following the instructions given in the Circular Memorandum, necessary action would be taken.

4. Recording the same, this Court directs the petitioner to give fresh 2/4

representation based on the instructions given in the Circular Memorandum Rc.No.2029209/General.1(1)/2022 dated 01.04.2022. On receiving such representation, the respondent Police is directed to dispose of the representation within a period of four weeks thereafter.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Origianl Petition is disposed of.
