Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to revise the petitioner's wages with effect 01.09.2016 based on the 13th wage settlement dated 04.01.2018 and pay him the difference in wages from 01.09.2016 to 31.12.2016 difference in gratuity and leave salary along with the interest at the rate of 12 percentage per annum from the date of entitlement to till the date of actual disbursement.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed in the nature of mandamus seeking a direction against the respondents to pay wages with effect 01.09.2016 in accordance with 13th wage settlement dated 04.01.2018 and pay the difference in 01.09.2016 to 31.12.2016 and also pay difference in gratuity and leave salary. The petitioner seeks interest also to be paid.

Heard the learned standing counsel for the respondents also. 3.The respondent may examine the service register of the petitioner and examine the eligibility of the petitioner to claim the aforesaid amount and if the petitioner is eligible, pay the same together interest at 6% per annum from the date of retirement till the date of actual disbursement. This exercise must be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
