time frame as may be fixed by this Court and consequently assess the house property situated at New No.5, Old No.3, Club Road, Chetpet, Chennai - 600 031 for the purpose of levy of property tax.

O R D E R

Mr.Prithivi Chopda, learned Standing Counsel accepts notice for the respondents and is armed with requisite instructions to enable this Court to dispose the matter finally, even at the stage of admission.

2. The petitioner seeks a mandamus simplicitor seeking disposal of his representation dated 17.10.2022 by the first respondent/Regional Deputy Commissioner seeking assessment of property situated at New No.5, Old No.3, Club Road, Chetpet, Chennai - 600 031 under the provisions of the Chennai City Municipal Corporation Act, 1919.

3. Mr.Prithivi would accede to the position that representation dated 17.10.2022 has been received by R1 on the same day and assures the Court that the same will be disposed within the time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4. In light of the aforesaid position, mandamus is issued to R1 to dispose representation dated 17.10.2022, after hearing the petitioner, within a period of six (6) weeks from date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law.
