Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records on the file of the 2nd respondent in Lr.No.27365/E7/2012-1 dated 26.08.2013 and Na.Ka.No.26475/2009/Pa.a3 dated 18.09.2013 of the 3rd respondent and Na.Ka.No.39190/2005/Pa.a3 dated 24.06.2006 of the 4th respondent and quash the same by issuing writ of Certiorarified mandamus in so far as the petitioner's regularization is concerned and directing the respondents to regularize the petitioner's service in the post of Junior Assistant from 01.04.1999 with retrospective effect and further direct the respondents to count 50% of the earlier service in the post of full time panchayat Assistant and pay pension and the other monetary and service benefits.

ORDER

On an earlier occasion, it was brought to the notice of this Court that the sole petitioner passed away on 30.08.2022. In view of the same, the matter was adjourned to enable the counsel for the petitioner to take appropriate steps.

2.It is further brought to the notice of this Court by Mr.Vadivelu Deenadayalan, learned Additional Government Pleader that the petitioner died leaving no legal heirs. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner also submitted that he is not in a position to take appropriate steps in the matter.

3.In the circumstances, the writ petition stood abated on the demise of the sole petitioner. Hence, the writ petition is closed as abated. In case, the legal representatives if any, of the deceased petitioner intends to pursue the writ petition any further, they are at liberty to file an appropriate petition. No costs.
