O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed by the Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation Employees' Union mainly challenging clause (3) in the impugned proceedings dated 08.10.2015 issued by the respondent in Na.Ka.No.ye/e2/66547/2013, wherein, it has been stated that if the workers who have been engaged as Seasonal Employees prior to 2000, have exceeded the age of 55 years, they should not be engaged and if they are engaged, they have to furnish Medical Fitness Certificate.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the impugned proceedings was passed in the year 2015 and after a lapse of 10 years, it may not be survived. However, if the petitioner Union has any grievance at present, liberty may be given to them to work out their remedy in the manner known to law.

3. In view of the limited request made by the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner Union, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, grants liberty to the petitioner Union to work their remedy in the 2/4

manner known to law, if they have any grievance at present.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
