This Court, by an order dated 26.04.2016 directed the respondent viz. District Collector, Tiruvallur District to dispose of the appeal dated 21.12.2015 preferred by the petitioner by conducting an enquiry after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as to one V.S.Boopalan and other necessary parties, if any and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

Since the said order has not been complied within the specified time, the petitioner has come up with this Contempt Petition.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the order under contempt has been complied with.

In view of the above submission, nothing further survives for consideration in this matter. Hence, this Contempt Petition is closed.
