Respondents Prayer:- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus directing the 1st respondent to produce the person or body of the detenue minor R.Ruba, D/o.R.Ravi, aged 17 years and 9 months before this Court and handover to the petitioner.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] This Habeas Corpus petition has been filed by the father of the detenue to produce his daughter, namely R.Ruba, aged about 17 years before this Court. 2.We have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. We have perused the materials available on record.

3. The detenue has been secured and produced before this Court. On enquiry, the detenue would state that now she has attained the age of majority and also got married to 2nd respondent and she is also willing to go with him.

4. The father of the detenu is also present before this Court. He would state that she can go in her own way, if she is not willing to come with him.

5. In the light of the above facts and circumstances that the detenue expressed her willingness to go with the 2nd respondent, she is set at liberty. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
