Mr.Nanmaran, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for R1/The Secretary to Government of Tamilnadu, Housing & Urban Development Department and Mr.B.Balaji, learned counsel accepts notice for R2 and R3, being Managing Director and Executive Engineer of Tamilnadu Urban Habitat Development Board respectively. They are armed with instructions to enable final disposal of this Writ Petition, even at the stage of admission.
2. The petitioner seeks a mandamus directing R1 to consider its appeal dated 24.04.2023 filed before R1 on merits and consequently forebear R2 and R3 from taking any coercive steps as against the members of the petitioner association, pending disposal of the appeal. 2/4
3. Mr.Nanmaran would accede to the pendency of appeal dated 24.04.2023 filed by the petitioner before R1 for nearly one year and would assure the Court as well as the petitioner that R1 will dispose the same in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner and any one else who may be thought necessary for proper adjudication of the matter, within a period of six (6) weeks from date of receipt of a copy of this order.
