Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to grant an order of extension of time by two weeks to the order passed by this Honourable Court by order dated 03.11.2020 in the above writ petition for deposting the balance sale consideration of Rupees 1600000(Sixteen Lakhs) to the respondent. (in WMP.10077/2021 in WP.No.15531/2020) Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.A.GOUTHAMAN Advocate for MR.M.SURESH, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.R.SREEDHAR Advocate on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- (Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The application is in continuation of a petition, W.P.No.15531 of 2020 which was disposed of by an order dated November 3, 2020. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. By such order, the petitioner's submission was recorded that the petitioner would clear the balance amount of Rs.16 lakh within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the relevant order.

3. The petitioner says that for reasons beyond the control of the petitioner the payment could not be made within the time as represented in Court. The petitioner says that the respondent-bank is willing to accept the balance payment, but in view of the order of Court fixing a time, the bank has reservations whether it should receive the money.

4. The relevant order of November 3, 2020 merely recorded the submission on behalf of the writ petitioner. In such circumstances, no express order of extension is necessary, though it will be open to the respondent-bank to receive the payment at a belated stage. W.M.P.No.10077 of 2021 is disposed of without any order as to costs. It is recorded that W.P.No.15531 of 2020 should be treated as disposed of in the records.
