JUDGMENT

(Delivered by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.T.S.N.Prabhakaran, learned counsel for the appellant and Mr.C.Kathiravan, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

2. Learned counsel submits that after the order was passed by the learned Single Judge, the appellant has approached the District Collector who is the competent authority and the matter is pending consideration with the district authority.

3. If the appellant was satisfied with the order of the learned Single Judge, there was no propriety in filing the appeal. The appellant has already approached the competent authority as was

observed by the learned Single Judge. The competent authority shall take decision on its own merits and in accordance with law and policy.

4. The writ appeal accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
