PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for records of the 2nd respondent relating to the resolutions passed in the 14th Board Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Tamil Nadu Apex Skill Development Center for Health Care, held on 16.12.2025 insofar as it restricts the petitioners appointment as Managing Director for a term of one year from 4.01.2026 or until a new Managing Director is appointed and quash the same and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to approve the petitioners appointment as Managing Director of Tamil Nadu apex Skill Development Center for Health Care for a fixed term of three years from 4.01.2026 in compliance with GO (MS) No. 83 Labour and Employment (S3) Department dated 17.06.2019 and pass orders.

ORDER

The prayer in the writ petition is to quash the proceedings of the second respondent relating to the Resolution passed in the 14th Board Meeting held on 16.12.2026, insofar as it restricts to the appointment of the petitioner as Managing Director for a term of one year from 04.01.2026 or until a new Managing Director is appointed in Tamil Nadu Apex Skill Development

Centre for Health Care and for a consequential relief.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that in the Board Meeting of the 3rd respondent held on 06.03.2026, the petitioner has been discharged and another person was appointed as Managing Director. Hence, he seeks leave of this Court to withdraw the above writ petition and he has filed an affidavit dated 23.03.2026.

3. Recording the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the affidavit filed by the petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
