PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 not to detain the petitioner's husband Nirabu, Son of Ramadoss, aged 30 years, under Tamil Nadu Act 14/82 as Goonda and further hold enquiry into the high handed act of fourth respondent foisting false case in Crime No.90 of 2021 dated 01.04.2021 on the file of the Sub-Inspector of Police, Puduchathram Police Station, the fourth respondent herein, by considering the representation dated 05.04.2021 of the petitioner to secure the ends of justice.

ORDER

The petitioner, who is the wife of one Nirabu, has filed this Writ Petition seeking for a direction to direct the respondents 1 and 2 not to detain the petitioner's husband Nirabu under Act 14/82 as Gooonda.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that the petitioner's husband was already detained under Act 14/82 on 24.01.2021.

3. In view of the same, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
