By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. According to the petitioners, they were working as Nurse in Government Medical College Hospital, Nagercoil, from 01.07.1986 and subsequently, on 01.07.2006, they were promoted as Special Grade Staff Nurse. On 29.12.2015, they were promoted as Second Grade Nursing Superintendent and transferred to Villupuram and Sivagangai respectively.
3. The petitioners would state that they have another three years of service and due to family circumstances, they want to be posted at Kanyakumari Medical College Hospital. In this regard, they have submitted a representation dated 31.12.2015. Since no order has been passed, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Heard Mr.S.Parthasarathy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.L.Mahendran, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
5. This Court, considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioners in the writ petition and without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioners' dated 31.12.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioners.
6. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
